Swedish-born abstract painter Ylva Kunze returns to London’s C99 Art Project with a new series of work. Having been tutored as a young artist by the acclaimed Peter Doig, Kunze went on to gain her Masters at Chelsea College of Art, and then shared studio space with the Brit-artist set in London, where she now lives. Her work explores the tensions between light, air and movement and is inspired by the forests in her native Sweden, which are “mystical spaces”, says the artist. The exhibition is open Fridays to Sundays, and by appointment on Mondays to Thursdays.
